By accessing or using Davisville Labs websites, services, forms, products, educational materials, waitlists, mentorship offerings, consulting, or related resources, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our websites or services.
Davisville Labs LLC provides educational resources, project pathways, portfolio-building support, student outcome examples, AI guidance, mentorship services, learning-system design, and related offerings. We are not financial advisors, investment advisors, tax professionals, legal counsel, medical professionals, therapists, licensed career counselors, or college admissions consultants. Nothing on this website or in our services should be treated as financial, legal, tax, investment, medical, mental health, career, admissions, or other licensed professional advice.
1. Use of our websites and services
You agree to use Davisville Labs websites, forms, content, products, and services only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with their operation, security, availability, or intended use.
2. Davisville Compass and educational services
Davisville Labs is developing Davisville Compass, a guided four-year high school roadmap designed to help students explore interests, connect those interests to possible majors and opportunities, build meaningful projects, create portfolios, reflect on growth, and develop stronger stories about who they are becoming.
Current and future services may include educational resources, project pathways, student outcome examples, self-guided tools, account-based student workspaces, mentorship sessions, portfolio support, AI guidance, reflection prompts, learning experiences, and other educational offerings.
3. Parent or guardian involvement
For students under 18, a parent or legal guardian must approve participation in any paid mentorship service, account-based service, student workspace, or other offering that requires student participation. Parents or guardians are responsible for deciding whether the service is appropriate for their student and for providing accurate information during the inquiry, onboarding, and participation process.
4. Supplemental educational support
Davisville Labs is a supplemental educational resource and support service. Parents, guardians, and students remain responsible for academic decisions, school requirements, medical decisions, legal decisions, college application decisions, career decisions, and other personal or family decisions.
5. No admissions, scholarship, academic, or career guarantees
Davisville Labs does not guarantee college admission, scholarships, internships, jobs, improved grades, admissions results, career placement, portfolio results, project success, business results, search rankings, audience growth, revenue, or any other specific outcome. Educational resources, project pathways, mentorship, and consulting can support growth, preparation, reflection, and skill-building, but final outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.
6. Student outcomes and examples
Davisville Labs may publish fictionalized, composite, illustrative, or educational examples showing how students could explore interests, complete projects, develop portfolios, write reflections, or prepare application materials. These examples are provided for educational purposes and should not be interpreted as guarantees of student outcomes.
7. References and recommendations
Davisville Labs may provide a professional reference or recommendation only when appropriate and based on actual experience with a student’s participation, effort, character, and completed work. A reference or recommendation is never guaranteed, never automatic, and never offered in exchange for payment alone.
8. Consulting and project work
Davisville Labs may provide website support, digital strategy, AI guidance, workflow support, content strategy, learning-system design, and related services for families, businesses, educators, professionals, and community organizations. The scope, deliverables, timeline, pricing, and payment terms for paid work should be agreed to separately in writing before work begins.
9. Client and participant responsibilities
Clients, parents, guardians, and participants are responsible for providing accurate information, timely feedback, necessary access, approvals, content, assets, and decisions needed to complete the work. Delays in feedback, content, access, or approvals may affect timelines and outcomes.
10. AI guidance and tools
Davisville Labs may provide guidance on using artificial intelligence tools for learning, communication, planning, research, content support, organization, and project development. AI tools can produce errors, incomplete information, biased results, or unsuitable outputs. You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and deciding how to use any AI-assisted output.
11. Educational content
Davisville Labs may publish educational content, media, tools, templates, guides, pathways, project examples, student outcome examples, and learning experiences. This content is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.
12. Payments, cancellations, and refunds
Some Davisville Labs services may be offered as paid mentorship, project fees, consulting engagements, subscriptions, or access-controlled services. Payments may be processed by third-party providers. Unless otherwise stated in a written agreement, payments may be non-refundable once work has begun. Project changes, added scope, delays, or additional requests may require updated pricing, revised timelines, or a new written agreement.
13. Compass platform and account-based services
Davisville Labs may develop account-based services, including Davisville Compass, a student workspace, guided roadmap, resource library, project workspace, reflection tools, story-building tools, progress tracking, portfolio tools, or published portfolio pages. If account-based services become available, users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and for appropriate use of the account.
Davisville Labs may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue account-based features, student workspace features, portfolio publishing features, or related services at any time.
14. Published student work
Davisville Labs may support students in publishing selected work, project pages, portfolio pages, reflections, or other digital materials. Parents, guardians, and students are responsible for reviewing what is shared publicly. Davisville Labs may decline to publish or may remove material that is inappropriate, unsafe, misleading, infringing, or inconsistent with the purpose of the program.
15. Student work ownership
Students and families generally retain ownership of original student-created work they provide or create through Davisville Labs, including writing, project ideas, creative work, portfolio content, and related materials. Davisville Labs may provide structure, feedback, templates, design support, technical support, hosting tools, or educational guidance, but this does not transfer ownership of original student work unless separately agreed in writing.
16. Removal of student work
A student, parent, or guardian may request removal of student-identifying public portfolio pages or student-identifying public work hosted by Davisville Labs by contacting us. We will make reasonable efforts to review and respond to removal requests.

You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, or commercially exploit our materials without permission except as allowed by law.
19. Client and student materials
Clients and participants retain ownership of materials they provide to Davisville Labs, such as photos, copy, writing, project materials, logos, business information, documents, and other owned assets. Ownership of final deliverables, drafts, working files, code, templates, strategy documents, or related materials may depend on the written agreement for the specific service or project.
20. Portfolio use
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Davisville Labs may reference completed public-facing work, project descriptions, screenshots, or non-sensitive results in its portfolio, case studies, or marketing materials. For student work, Davisville Labs will use additional care and may request parent or guardian permission before featuring student-identifying work publicly.
21. Confidentiality and sensitive information
Davisville Labs will make reasonable efforts to protect confidential information shared during mentorship, consulting, or project work. You should not submit highly sensitive personal, financial, medical, legal, academic, or account information through public website forms. If a project requires sensitive information, additional confidentiality terms may be agreed to in writing.
22. Third-party services and links
Davisville Labs products and services may use or link to third-party services for hosting, payments, authentication, analytics, email, databases, AI tools, design, communication, or other functions. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.
23. Independent business disclaimer
